Nairobi, Kenya - RISE, a reminder to all of us to be hopeful, peaceful and in harmony because as Kenyans, we live with the culture of unity and community.
RISE is a body of creativity that is pioneered by CEDO, the celebrated Kenyan record producer and composer in collaboration with Machakos Boys High School and Foxton Media Ltd. This magical piece has been written by Oliver Mshaiza and Wisdom Wambua, both students at Machakos Boys High School.
In this creative expression, the fusion of brass instruments played by the Machakos boys, hums and vocals are masterfully arranged to create a soothing piece of music that speaks to us individually and as a nation.
Working with the school, CEDO says,“It’s astounding how much raw talent we have in our schools. Working on this project was simply amazing!”
