Happy New year!

2020 is finally gone. Our days were disrupted, our lifestyles changed and plans put on hold. We have however stopped talking about how horrible the year was and are now looking forward to the new opportunities that year 2021 presents with optimism.

2020 was by no means not an easy year for all of us. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to check off some boxes from our yearly to-do list. We started the year off by planning to shoot our next film, little did we know the virus would hit Kenya and travel restrictions would be imposed. During this period our production team was on location out of Nairobi shooting the film. Despite these challenges, we were able to successfully complete the shoot which is one of our biggest and highly anticipated projects this year.

We were also able to acquire new state-of-the-art film equipment which include lights and cameras. We strive for excellence and aspire to only deliver top-notch products to our audience.

Despite all the challenges in the year 2020, good things happened to us at the tail end of the year. Our debut film Coerced Revenge found a home on Showmax which you can now watch (here). In the same month we revamped our website and other social media platforms. We also created a show reel to showcase the projects we have done so far and joined TikTok. Within a period of 3 weeks, our show reel and the other short videos on TikTok have been able to collectively gather over 15,000 views.

We strongly believe that 2021 is going to be even bigger and better for Foxton Media.
